Fundraiser: Mother Goose Manor

Mother Goose Manor will measure approximately 15' x 20' and will have its own water feature. This pen will serve a few important purposes.

First and foremost, it will serve as a second quarantine pen for our new rescues. This means when West Wing quarantine pen is full, we will no longer need to wait to bring in other rescues.

Second, this pen will also be our first enclosure designed to meet the needs of ducklings and goslings.

And finally, when this pen is not in use, we will be offering duck/goose-sitting services to help us raise more funds for our sanctuary. This capability will also provide a vital service to many families who would like to adopt, but do not have an answer for those times when they need to leave their homes.

Fundraiser: Saxony Swamp

Saxony Swamp will measure approximately 50' x 100'. It will span across a wonderful area where multiple streams come through the forest. The streams leave the pen and flow into the main streambed, which runs outside and parallel to this enclosure. The rich soil is full of tasty treats, encouraging foraging behavior and natural enrichment activities for our waterfowl. Saxony Swamp will be protected from above with a high impact aviary net. It will have electric fencing around the top and bottom fence perimeters. This will be our largest pen to date, making room for us to help even more displaced ducks and geese.
