2019 Photo Contest
In light of photo submission trends and our crazy-hectic sanctuary schedule, we are going to change things up a little for our future annual contests.
Beginning in 2019, our photo contest will run for ONE month, from May 1st - May 31st. This will give us more time to gather our judges together and compile our winning photos into newsletter format, without all the RUSH!
We will run an Early Bird Special for the first week of May. Photos entered between May 1st - 7th will qualify for this double-the-fun, TWO-FOR-ONE promotion. During this week, you will be able to submit up to TWO photos for a single $5.00 donation!
As next year's contest gets close, we will include reminders in our newsletters, so you'll still have plenty of time to take your photos or dig through your last 12 months of old favorites for submission!

Our judges debated over 20 Most Photogenic finalists for over an hour! It was the most challenging year of contestants we've ever seen, and here are a few of them:
This first one is difficult to see, but on the large screen it is AMAZING! It came in 4th place for Most Photogenic and 2nd Place for Honorable Mention! WOW! Nicely done, Lindsey!

Poppa Mallard Day
We wore crowns, ate food, went swimming, played volleyball, ran sanctuary tours and unveiled our Lewis C. Maruzo memorial plaque at our first annual Poppa Mallard Day celebration. It was so great to see so many familiar faces while also meeting some new ducky friends as well!
Thank you for coming and we hope to see you all again next year!
New Barn Roof
We want to thank EVERYONE who donated for our sanctuary's new barn roof including our amazing sponsor of our dollar-for-dollar match day! The project is complete and came with a 15 year warranty, so our ducks and geese should never have to worry about a safe roof over their heads over again!
