Majestic Newcomers: Cedar & Princess Sparkles Go To North Carolina!
Cedar was a local rescue who made it safely to our sanctuary. Princess Sparkles was an owner surrender who arrived at our sanctuary within days of Cedar.
 
We found a very special home for this beautiful pair in North Carolina and we want to thank EVERYONE who donated to help fund our 1373 mile, 23.5 hour trip to get these two ducks to their new home!
Very special thanks to Cynthia for meeting us in Virginia and finishing up the last 4 hours of the journey, saving us a full 8 hours on the roundtrip!
And, most of all, our deepest gratitute to Rhonda for welcoming these two beautiful rescued Muscovies into your family! THANK YOU & BLESS YOU!!!
 
Sheena Update
Sheena's follow up x-ray confirmed that only a small bit of staple remains lodged in the muscle of her gizzard, where it will most likely stay for the remainder of her life. Now that she's fully recovered, it's time to find her a new home!
Sheena needs to find a home with a predator-proof pen (including top cover) where she will only be penned with other female ducks. While she gets around without any trouble, she may be prone to occasional sprains, so we don't want any boys mating her or chasing her around. If you have a kiddy pool, it will need to be sunk into the ground, so she isn't hopping over the wall to get in and out.
Sheena is a very easy going duck who is eager to make ducky friends and gets along with everyone here. She runs over to us for her mealy worm treats and is such a sweetheart! You're going to love this little duck! She makes the most out of every moment and is an unbelievable joy!

Majestic newcomers Pebbles (female Rouen) and Moonstone (female Cayuga) are also available for adoption. These girls can be around males as long as your male-to-female ratio is appropriate to prevent over-mating. Visit our adoption profiles to learn more about all of our adoptable ducks!
