2014 Annual Blue Ribbon Photo Contest!
It's that time of year again! Our 2014 Blue Ribbon Photo Contest is now open for submissions! Please review our guidelines by clicking Photo Contest Rules. This is a GREAT way to help fund our sanctuary rebuild while also having some good fun!
Contest runs from April 1st, 2014 - June 15th, 2014 (12:00 Midnight EST). Winning photos will be featured in our upcoming July 2014 newsletter and also permanently displayed in our Majestic Winner's Circle!

1st, 2nd & 3rd place ribbons will be awarded in each of our three categories: Most Photogenic, Most Mallard and introducing: Best Couple! (The "Most Comical" category will be back in 2015!)
The Best Couple is a photo of two living and breathing feathered friends (no plush animals); no one else can appear in the photo. At least ONE of the two birds featured MUST be a domestic duck or goose. To achieve a bonus score in this category be sure to include a caption along with your photo entry (see Photo Rules for more details).
About our Prize Ribbons:
Our gorgeous four-tier, circular ribbons have tops measuring 6 inches in diameter and extra long 21 inch tails! Ribbons are detailed with "Majestic Waterfowl Sanctuary" appearing in Gold lettering.
1st place Winners will each receive a beautiful Blue & Gold ribbon!
2nd place Winners will each receive a royal Red & Gold ribbon!
3rd place Winners will each receive a wham-o-dine White & Gold ribbon!
These gorgeous Ribbons are something you and your feathered friend can display PROUDLY!
In addition:
We will be awarding one President's Pick orange-centered Rainbow ribbon and one Honorable Mention yellow-centered Rainbow ribbon!
These single-tier Rainbow ribbons have tops that measure 5 inches in diameter with long 11 inch tails. Ribbons are detailed with "Majestic Waterfowl Sanctuary" and "Well Done!" appearing in Gold lettering.

And for those of you who are entering photos in this year's contest, we have an anonymous panel of judges who have absolutely no access to any personal information regarding entrants or ribbon sponsors. This means you can enter your duck or goose's photo in the contest and sponsor a ribbon if you'd like. There's absolutely no chance of a conflict of interest.
