Little Gulliver arrived today and look at how cute he is! I'm guessing he hatched around March 1st. You can see how skinny he is; he just ate before I took this photo and you can see his swollen crop, filled with grain. Normally it is not that profound, but we'll get him fattened up in no time. The bottoms of his feet are sore and have black calluses on them. He was probably kept in a wire cage before they dropped him off and he was subsequently attacked by a seagull... and lost his sibling...

He is SO human-imprinted. I just can't understand it. I can't understand someone throwing him away. He is just so beautiful...
