Deirdre stood up to greet me when I went out to the barn this morning! YAY! I let her out onto the pond today to swim after checking her vent and putting some more bacitraycin on her and giving her another Rimadyl. I think we are close enough to the end to give her one every 12 hours for the rest of her life without worrying about liver/kidney issues. At this point I am more interested in making her days comfortable.

She couldn't walk all the way down to the pond, so I helped carry her. She just loves Demi and swims along with her in the water. Benny has taken to Deirdre too lately and they always sleep together under the shade trees in their pen.
