Majestic Diary

March 6, 2009

Look at Mac putting up a big stink... sheesh what a piece of work. HONK HONK HONK! I know! I know! Now back off--wha ha ha!

You can't see Winston and Mr. Pearl, but they are in the pen behind Mac's head. That is The Gate House back there and it is divided in half for our two guests this week. It is so nice having them back! Their new mom is so sweet, she packed them little snack bags of peas for each day they are here--little packed lunches. I love it! Penny in the next pen (in the Gardens) gets jealous, so I always toss her 2-3 peas so she feels loved too.

When the boys first arrived and I let them out of their carriers, Winston gave me BIG, GIANT hugs!!!  Mr. Pearl is not really a huggy kind of guy, but he let me pet him on the side of his neck and on his belly. Some people don't think these animals remember, but they DO! They have very good and long lasting memories.

I didn't get a good photo of the boys today, just the geese. Look at beautiful Fanny. She always comes over and makes eye contact with me and there is such peace in her blue eyes. I just love her. She is so sweet.

Oh, look!  You can see Mr. Pearl in the background of this one. And you can just barely see Winston's bill in the darkness of his house behind the blue bucket.

Oh, Mac... Where is the love....
